The Impact of Climate Change on Agricultural Production
Scientific Lecture: Climate Change Presented by: Professor Kamal Jmouai & Professor Ahmed Malha
On the occasion of Earth Day, celebrated on April 22, students from the Department of Environment and Surroundings at the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences and Earth Sciences organized an awareness day on the importance of waste sorting in sustainable waste management. The event was held in collaboration with the faculty’s scientific club “Athar” and under the supervision of the Dean of the faculty, along with professors from the Department of Environmental Sciences. The event also witnessed the participation of economic partners working in the environmental sector, including the Directorate of Environment of the Wilaya of Ain Defla, Grain Jete Company specializing in the recycling of used tires in Ain Turk, and Recyclage AFC Company specialized in plastic recycling in Ain Defla. During this day, students presented scientific projects focused on waste sorting, recycling, and reuse, aiming to promote sustainable waste management practices and contribute to environmental protection.
Participation of the Vice Dean in charge of Pedagogy, Dr. Mohamed Rata, representing the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences and Earth Sciences, in the Open Days organized for third-year secondary school students preparing to take the 2026 Baccalaureate exam. This event was organized by the Directorate of Education of Ain Defla Province.
The Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences and Earth Sciences is organizing awareness days to introduce the available academic streams and qualifying specializations at the faculty.
